The holidays are upon us, and that means it’s time to start thinking about food. While the traditional Thanksgiving meal calls for turkey, you can make the occasion extra special with a beautiful Wagyu meal. There are endless roast recipes that will make the whole family feel warm and fuzzy inside. And you won’t have to fight with strangers over the last big bird at the store that’s bound to take up half the space in your fridge.
Thanksgiving Wagyu Roasts
Our Wagyu chuck roast is the perfect Thanksgiving roast. Easily prepared in a crockpot or slow cooker, this roast is bursting with juicy flavors and will satisfy the whole family. Pair it with grilled asparagus and sweet potatoes, or let it settle on a bed of creamy potatoes.
The Wagyu eye of round roast is another great roast option. While this cut is leaner than the chuck roast, an all-day oven roast will make it just as flavorful. And don’t forget that Thanksgiving leftovers are just as important as the main meal! Eye of round roast makes for excellent slices of lunch meat, perfect for next-day sandwiches and salads.
Side Dishes
Although your Wagyu roast will be the star of the show, the supporting sides are imperative to the feel of the whole meal. Stuffing is a must. If you make a roast, cook the stuffing with the beef juices for flavor overload. Then focus on the potatoes. As mentioned before, creamy potatoes are a wonderful addition to any Thanksgiving spread. But buttery mashed potatoes are always a classic. Get your helping of vegetables with a green bean casserole, grilled asparagus, or baked brussels sprouts. You can’t go wrong whipping up a simple cranberry sauce to balance everything with a little sweetness.
Get Cooking
With any family meal, you want to give yourself plenty of time to be prepared by dinner. If you cook a roast, wake up a little early to get it in the oven before noon. Once the main event is roasting away, turn to your side dishes. These shouldn’t take nearly as long as your Browsey Acres Wagyu roast. But you should help yourself by taking the stress out of cooking so many things at once. Ask the kids to jump in to help you for some family fun along the way. Enjoy your Thanksgiving creations, both before and while you eat!
Happy Holidays from Browsey Acres!
